Small Fall Wreaths to Celebrate Autumn

This autumn, welcome the falling leaves and cooler temperatures by decorating your home for fall. At Lynch Creek Farm, we love using wreaths to welcome the changing seasons. While large 32” wreaths make quite the statement (especially on the front door), small wreaths can be just as striking! We’d like to share some of our favorite small fall wreaths as well as a few autumn decorating tips!

Pinecone Wreaths

Pinecones are a fall decorating staple. We love them so much that they’re featured in many of our 26” small autumn wreaths. Our Country Chic wreath has a fresh, classy black and ivory striped burlap bow, and a spray of white berries that are arranged atop a lush base of fresh noble fir and cedar. Ponderosa pine cones are tucked in to create the perfect modern country wreath that will enliven any space.

A woven combination of incense cedar, white pine, and noble fir is topped off with sweet herbal-scented bay leaves and white pine pinecones to create our fresh and beautiful Dark Orange Blended Bay wreath.

Pumpkin Wreaths

Our Moss Green Pacific Sunset wreath features faux pumpkins, acorns, pinecones, fall leaves, green leaves, berries, and sage. Copper and green ball clusters add touches of elegance, and a beautiful hand-tied green linen bow is added as the finishing touch.

It’s hard to think about pumpkins without thinking about Halloween decorations. When selecting your front door decor during the spooky season, opt for wreaths that will compliment the orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, mini pumpkins, and gourds on your front porch. Grapevine wreaths, twig wreaths, and greenery wreaths also make great Halloween decorations as they’re easily adaptable for Thanksgiving and even into Christmas. Their stark nature can give you a lot of options for at-home customization. Our fresh and fragrant Three Cedars wreath is popular for that very reason.

Harvest Wreaths

Our most popular harvest wreath is our Cider Season wreath featuring magnolia leaves which add a burst of deciduous drama to an evergreen base of fragrant noble fir and pine. Warm accents of colored seed pods and branches of assorted nuts and cones give the arrangement a bountiful harvest quality. This wreath is a burst of autumn charm perfect wall decor for entryways or above the mantle in the living room

Thanksgiving wreaths make unique gifts for dinner hosts or loved ones who live far away. No matter their home decor style, our Blended Bay wreath is as classic and universally loved as they come. It’s a wonderful gift for families in need of decorating ideas or for those who are averse to trending decor because they prefer the timeless look.

Flower Wreaths

Celebrate autumn with fall flowers, either fresh or dried. In addition to our fresh greenery wreaths, we offer dried flower wreaths year-round. Our Heavenly Hydrangea wreath has all the fall colors you want and makes lovely home decor throughout every season. Our Sweet Harvest wreath is another festive flower wreath sure to make a lovely centerpiece in any room. If making a floral wreath at home, look for fall flowers and fall foliage in warm, earthy colors to mimic the sunset tones of autumn.

Artificial Wreaths vs. Evergreen Wreaths

While artificial wreaths from Etsy or big box stores are popular, we are of course huge advocates for fresh evergreen wreaths. Not only are fresh wreaths better for the environment, they are fragrant, beautiful, and unique. They make memorable gifts and are truly a special way to decorate your home. Our handcrafted wreaths can be shipped anywhere in the US and you have the option of adding a wreath hanger. Whether you buy one local to you, break out the hot glue and DIY it, or order from Lynch Creek Farm, we hope you celebrate the changing season with a beautiful fall wreath!
