Country Woods Living Tree One Gallon

Our Country Woods Living Tree brings home all the timeless beauty of a classic Christmas. A living one-gallon Dwarf Alberta Spruce is planted in soil and nestled inside a rustic galvanized container, then adorned with glossy red ball ornaments, faux red and silver berry clusters woven through a natural jute garland, and a striking tartan plaid bow. A set of warm LED string lights is included to complete the display with a cozy holiday glow. Inspired by evergreen forests and treasured Christmas traditions, this living tree is easy to care for and brings warmth to any home all season long. This one-gallon living potted tree is approximately 28" - 32" tall.

Please note this is a living tree - a Dwarf Alberta Spruce. It arrives potted in a container with soil. It is not a handmade tabletop tree arrangement. As our living spruce trees are naturally grown, each one is unique and will vary in shape and fullness. These spruce trees do not provide a strong evergreen scent like our other handmade products do.

This living tree can be displayed anywhere in the home or on the front porch. It is easy to care for! Simply water it like an indoor plant and keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. It will last beautifully through the holiday season.

It includes a pack of dual-action white/multicolor LED string lights - a $9.95 value! The lights arrive in a small box and are not pre-attached to the tree. They are very easy to install - simply wrap the lights around the tree, and tuck the battery box into the pot. Lights include an automatic timer: once turned on, they stay on for 6 hours, then automatically turn off and light up again at the same time the next day, repeating this cycle until you turn them off. Lights require three AA batteries and are not included.

Our Living Christmas Trees are very easy to care for. With proper care, they will last at least 3 weeks indoors and 4 to 6 weeks outdoors.

Upon arrival, carefully lift the tree out of the box. Remove the plastic bag around the base by cutting the zip tie. Shake off any needles. It is normal for some needles to shed in transit. Fluff the bow, if one is included, and adjust decorations that may have shifted in transit. 

Add two cups of water to the soil. Throughout the season, water the tree when the top inch of soil feels dry, ensuring the soil is moist but not soggy. Avoid letting the pot sit in standing water. To minimize needle drop caused by dry indoor air, lightly spray the entire tree when watering it.

Place your living tree in a cool location with bright, indirect light near a window. Avoid direct, intense sunlight, which can scorch the needles. It should also be kept away from heat sources that may dry them out, including heat vents and open flames. Always keep them away from sources of ignition.

Have fun decorating! Your living Christmas tree may come with a box of ball ornaments—perfect for adding your own festive touch with family or friends. Simply hang the ornaments on the tree as you like.

Some customers may choose to plant their living Christmas tree outdoors after the holiday season. Our Dwarf Alberta Spruce trees are live evergreen plants that can be planted outdoors. However, their long-term success in an outdoor environment depends on proper planting, ongoing care, and suitable climate and local conditions. As such, we cannot guarantee growth or survival once the tree is planted outdoors.

During the checkout process, you will be prompted to select an approximate Ship Date for each product. Shipments that are sent using our Ground Shipping may ship out up to 3 business days before or after the approximate Ship Date that is selected. As a result, the Approximate Arrival Date shown in the checkout may also be adjusted by up to 3 business days. 

We offer shipping to Hawaii and Alaska for an additional cost. Those costs are shown during the checkout process. Currently, we do not ship to PO Boxes or to Canada. Expedited shipping options are also not available at this time.
