Proper Care, Maintenance, and Storage of Your New Garlands
While we recommend these holiday decorations for outdoor use as they’re made to last longer in the fresh air, it’s understandable that some of our customers are looking to bring their home decor inside. In that case, livening up your living room, entryway, or dining room with your new garland is a great option. With proper care and maintenance, our garland products should last approximately 3 weeks indoors. If you do however choose to keep your holiday decor outside, we recommend finding a shaded area away from direct sunlight to keep your garland hanging. Garlands absorb moisture through their cut ends, so to really enhance and lengthen their life, you should spritz the cut ends with water every 2-3 days to keep your garland happy and healthy.
