Product Care
Product Care
Caring for our centerpieces is quite easy as they require very little upkeep. With proper care, they will last at least 3 weeks indoors.
Upon arrival, add ½ cup of water to the center of the oasis foam. To properly care for your product, add another ½ cup water and spritz every 2-3 days. This brings out the fragrance.
If your centerpiece has a candle, there will be a green plastic candle holder inserted in the center. For taper candles, simply insert the candles into the holders. For pillar candles, peel off the white square sticker on the candle holder and press the candle firmly into the holder. It is not necessary to use the sticker for LED candles.
All greenery should be kept in a cool location, away from heat sources that may dry them out such as direct sunlight, heat vents, and open flames. Always keep them away from ignition sources. Keep candle flames at least 4” away from the greenery. Never leave lit candles unattended.

The Heart of the Home: Dining Table Centerpieces
The dining room table is the heart of the home. It’s where we gather in carefully chosen dining chairs to sit with our loved ones and share meals, stories, and laughter. A captivating dining table centerpiece can transform this space into a visual delight and set the tone for memorable dining experiences. Whether you prefer DIY options or crafted-for-you treasures, we've got you covered with ideas that suit casual gatherings and elegant dinner parties alike. And don't forget, the same principles that make a dining room inviting can work wonders for the rest of your home decor. Let’s dive in!
DIY Options: Unleash Your Creativity
DIY dining table decor offers a personalized touch that can truly make your dining table stand out. For a rustic touch, place a collection of mason jars filled with freshly picked wildflowers and tie them together with twine. To add a touch of glamor, arrange candles of varying heights in elegant candle holders on a mirrored tray. Get creative with natural elements like driftwood, pinecones, or seashells, interspersed with succulents or small potted plants.
Floral arrangements are an art in themselves, but if you’re feeling crafty, collect glass vases from thrift stores, and assemble fresh flowers such as orchids and tulips for your next casual brunch. Interior design is as much about personality and play as it is about style. Don’t be afraid to display the ceramic vase you made in a pottery class or a table runner you sewed yourself.
Unique candlesticks that you thrift or make yourself out of old wine bottles can add a quirky element. Keep in mind, the centerpiece is the focal point of your table, so whatever you choose to display, make sure you love how it looks. The possibilities are endless, and your DIY centerpiece will be a reflection of your unique style and personality.
Handcrafted Dining Table Centerpiece Options
If crafting isn't your forte, fear not! There are plenty of premade options that exude sophistication and charm, though, we might be a little biased. At Lynch Creek Farm, we specialize in beautiful fresh centerpieces that are eye catching and memorable.
Our Northern Buck centerpiece is a country-style table decor perfect for a rustic look.
Our Northern Lights centerpiece includes an LED lantern that emits a soft glow. Handcrafted centerpieces can elevate any holiday interior design just as much if not more than the right napkins, placemats, and table runners do.
The Importance of Lighting
Lighting plays a crucial role in the overall ambiance and atmosphere of any space. This is why many of Lynch Creek Farm’s handcrafted centerpieces come with pillar candles, taper candles, or LED lanterns. Whether it's a cozy living room coffee table, a sophisticated dining area, or a serene bedroom, the right lighting can transform the mood and elevate the design.
Natural light brings a refreshing and vibrant feel during the day, while carefully placed artificial lighting, such as pendant lights, chandeliers, floor lamps, candles, and lanterns, add warmth and character during the evenings. The interplay of light and shadow can accentuate architectural features and highlight interior design elements, creating a captivating experience.
Thoughtful consideration of lighting fixtures, intensity, and placement allows for the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, making it an essential element in crafting inviting and welcoming spaces. When trying to think of decor ideas to elevate your dining room table or overall home decor, don’t forget to consider lighting.
Don’t Forget the Greenery
The inclusion of fresh flowers, dried flower arrangements, and greenery centerpieces, to your tablescape brings a myriad of benefits to any interior design. Fresh flowers exude natural beauty and emit a delightful fragrance, instantly refreshing the dining room design. Their ever-changing colors and textures reflect the passing seasons, infusing dining room decor with a sense of life and renewal.
On the other hand, dried flowers and greenery offer an enduring charm, requiring little maintenance while still bestowing a rustic, earthy appeal. When thinking about dining table centerpiece ideas, think about achieving something unique through artful greenery or elaborate floral centerpieces. For example, our Hunters’ Hollow centerpiece features fresh noble fir, incense cedar, and white pine adorned with faux antlers and pinecones for a truly unique focal point to your holiday table.
Natural table centerpieces, whether simple or elaborate, become the heart of any room, effortlessly drawing the eye and setting the mood. Whether you prefer the freshness of a bouquet or the allure of dried botanicals, incorporating natural elements into your decor elevates not only the visual aesthetics but also the emotional connection to your living space.
General Dining Room Decor Tips
In the dining room, the choice of elements on the tablescape plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and visually appealing space. Dinnerware sets the stage for a delightful dining experience, with carefully selected plates, bowls, and glassware adding your personality to the meal. Decorative trays offer a practical and aesthetic function, providing a platform to display candles, vases, or small decor items that complement the overall theme.
The choice of kitchen table and dining chairs determines the overall tone of the dining area, from rustic farmhouse to French countryside to modern farmhouse to minimalist. Adding a pop of color through vibrant accessories like napkins, placemats, or centerpiece accents injects liveliness and personality into the setting.
The right tablecloth and table linens are essential in creating a polished and cohesive look, either through classic white linens for a timeless elegance or patterned textiles for a playful vibe. Thoughtfully arranged table settings complete the picture, incorporating flatware and cloth napkins that mirror the desired mood, whether formal or casual.
Though the center of the table will always garner the most attention, these other details play a large role in setting the mood for special occasions or casual dinner parties. By combining these elements thoughtfully, one can craft a dining room table that becomes the heart of gatherings, inspiring connection, joy, and memorable moments with loved ones.
